A+T+ Family / New Born – Winter Family Lifestyle Session

This family session had every combination that I love when doing these photoshoots.  First off… our session was in the winter.  The fact that we had snow on the ground was awesome, especially since this year the snow in Toronto was weak sauce (good and bad thing).   With a new addition to their family, Baby E was probably 5 weeks old at the time.  We combined a newborn and family session which are two types of sessions that I love.  After spending the first 10 minutes chatting with A… I knew right off the bat that him and his family were great people.  We also realized the many mutual friends we had aside from Sara who had gifted this session (thanks Sara, you’re the best!)

Baby E was so cooperative for this session and it was awesome that A and his kids were willing to head outside for some pics in the snow… sorry for the suggestion of the snow ball ambush brother =)  I guess, as the snow decreases every year in Toronto.  the good thing is that you guys will have some pics to reflect back one day and say “remember that cold white stuff we use to play with in the winter time…”

As always, sincere thanks A+T & family.  Also, thanks to Sara for gifting this session and always keeping us in mind.  Here are just a few pics to visually story tell our session.

Happy Monday everyone!

S+B+ little B Family Lifestyle Session

The last time I saw this family was at their first lifestyle family session a year ago.  When S emailed me to book our second session I was excited to catch up.  To my surprise when I walked in their new home, little B was already walking!!  So crazy… she’s growing up so quickly.  Ok, I officially sound like the old guy when I say lines like that, but to get a better feel of the transition I saw, here are the pics from the first session HERE…. She was soo little..

Although a year has past and there have been lots of great changes, one thing is still the same about little B. She loves the camera and is still super cute.   S &B thanks for making this an annual session, its awesome to have the opportunity to capture and see little B grow. Here a just a few handful of pics from our session!

A+R+Little I Family Lifestyle Session

Gi was asking me how I originally met A… and  it took me a while and I think we would both laugh if he remembers also.. as it was  “on set” for a music video probably about a 9  years ago.  It’s amazing how time flies.  When A and R asked us to do a family lifestyle session with little I… we were more than thrilled for a few reasons.   Looking back at my 2010 year, I was booked literally every weekend with a shoot… which I’m truly blessed for, but with the positives comes the negatives .. one of which is not being able to visit friends and family more often.  In this case it was meeting little I when she was born.   So meeting her for the first time and getting to do a fun shoot with two good friends of ours, was a win-win situation.

A+R – your daughter is gorgeous and Gi and I share nothing but joy for you guys.  Here are a few pics from our session – Enjoy!  Can’t wait to meet the next up coming bundle of joy.  Hopefully we can meet the new little one a bit earlier this time =)

M+J+ Little F + Fam / Family Lifestyle Session

So my friend Erik and his wife Joyce wanted to take pictures of their nephew F.   F and his family lived in Milton, so for the first time EVER me and Leon packed our gear to head off to the west end.   We of course got there earlier than E&J so we started to take pictures of F and his family.   F’s daddy J asked for us to take some pictures of F and his daddy’s prize pictures boxing.  I have a feeling daddy will be making a boxer out of this kid.  The only problem is that F is too darn cute to fight anyone!

Not only is F adorable because he is a cute smiley kid but he has a “squishy” face.  I am not sure how to explain this face but you can look at the pictures below to really see it.  All I have to say is I love the squishy face.  Just see for yourself.

Thanks,

Gi

Love his squishy face =)

J+C+G Maternity +Family Lifestyle Session

I really enjoyed this shoot for a lot of reasons aside from the obvious:  hanging with J+C+G.  We all headed off to Sibbald Point to do this session and when we arrived, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves… not a person in sight.  This session was relaxing and it kind of reminded me that there is more to life then my go go go lifestyle.   I only wish Gi was with me at this session as it would have been awesome just to all hang out afterwards.  Too bad she was recovering from a cold and the last thing she wanted do was to be sniffling around an expecting mother and a little one.

J+C+G are such naturals in front of the camera esp little G. Before I let the pictures do the talking, I want to thank J+C+G for this fun day, the great memories and for the continued support.  Here are just a few pics from our session!   Congrats again and we can’t wait to meet the new addition.

C+M+ E + A+D +G Family Lifestyle Session

For the life of me, I can’t remember when or how I met C&M.... but nonetheless... I’ve known them for a while and they’re good friends of mine.  When C asked me to do their family lifestyle session… she was on me like white on rice to set the date… as she’s also a wedding planner and knows how to make things happen =) …. Trust me.. I worked with her on a wedding before.

On a side note, I once played this trick on C… and it totally backfired on me.  Since then, I’ve wanted to figure out a way to get her back… like oh say maybe try to capture some embarrassing pics of her and post them up?…hehe… Unfortunately, but fortunately that didn’t happen since her and her family looked way too awesome.   Anyways, this was a fun little session that when I look back at the pics and the weather,  I can’t believe this was only a month ago!  Man… I’m not looking forward to this cold weather, I mean I heard there is a chance of flurries tonight..eek!  As always, thank you guys for the fun memories and here are some pics from our session – Enjoy!
