Welcoming Baby Z to the Family. N+L+E + Little Z

Things have been c-r-a-z-y busy for us (zero complaints =)) aside from that I hope everyone is enjoying the wicked weather outside.   So a few weeks back, Gi and I booked a trip to Chicago to fly in the afternoon straight to our friends wedding.   Me being the non communicative husband that I am some time.. (just some times..)  forgot to tell her that I included her in on a shoot right before our flight…right after shoots on Friday and Saturday and of course Sunday morning – right before our flight… lets just say lesson learned and Google calendar sync feature rocks now =)

All jokes aside… we always have a blast with newborn sessions.  Meeting little Z for the first time… this little dude is SUPER CUTE.  N+L – we’re truly happy for you both and thank you both for letting us capture these precious pics.   Here are just a very small handful of pics from our day.  Enjoy!

Welcoming baby C to the family! S+B+B and now adding little C

Seeing S&B always makes me happy.  I got the great opportunity to photograph so many great life stages for  them and this session is another landmark as its welcoming their newest edition to their family.  Gi and I headed over their place in the morning to get some pics of little C with the family.  I did learn something that day.  I’m going to kibosh the glasses the next time I see big sister B… I think she hates them as the moment I took them off… she was totally not camera shy (and she’s never camera shy with me)

Below are just a small handful of our favorite pics from their session.   Gi and I are really happy for you guys and as always, I sincerely want to thank you guys for always keeping me in mind to capture these stages in your life.  Hope you enjoy the pics =)

Welcoming little B to our world. Congrats M&N!!

Gi kindly tapped me on my shoulder this week and said… “you know Leon.. by the time you post up Little B new born pics, he’ll probably be walking and talking”… God bless my kind wife… hehe.  We’ve been pretty busy at the studio lately with back to back shoots and meeting tons of awesome, awesome people – so forgive me for the lack of updates.

Like everyone, we need more time in the day… but in our world, we know time flies when it feels like yesterday when we were shooting M&N’s wedding.  And now we’re capturing the first few days of their little son’s arrival.  Its crazy how time flies – but for us, it’s all-joyful landmarks.  This session… and I can generally say with all newborn – family lifestyle sessions that they are truly fun.  We enjoy these sessions A LOT since really… what’s not to like? I mean the new mommies and daddies are always ecstatic and the newborn is naturally super cute.

I’ll keep my babbling to a minimum and like always, let the pics tell the story.  I really don’t say this enough – but thank you Gi for ALL your creative inputs and different moments you captured.     Congrats again to M&N, I hope you enjoy some pics from the day.

Thanks,

Leon

Welcoming Little O!! Super cute new born photo session

Before I let Gi tell you guys about this shoot, I want to thank the Lam’s for this super cute session and a special thanks my wife Gi for ALL her creative input … this was truly ALL you.  Elephant shoe.

The Lams!!!

I met B when I was in high school and he was the fun and quirky CS guy. I can't believe that he married such a fun loving girl F and now has O joining his family.  Who knew? On the day of the shoot, we prepared the Lam family by telling them to ensure that they don't start feeding O till we get to the house.  We wanted to make sure he had serious itis for the shoot.  It always helps to have a sleepy baby since they are so much more malleable. You would think this would work but the little guy seemed to know that the camera was on him and stayed awake for the entire shoot.   Maybe it is because daddy has been clicking away at little O since birth so he is always camera ready!

We were all learning O's quirks that day, especially a funny happy quirk which at first, B and F, thought was because of me, but since then we have learned that it only meant he has to do his business...and trust me I saw a couple of yellow fountains that day.  There was never a dull moment between the tears, the pee, and the poop.   We can't wait to be the old aunty/uncle who says.."the first time I met you, you almost pooped on uncle Leon's camera"...haha....
