M&K + Beautiful Newborn Baby K

Happy Friday everyone!  We’re in the heart of our wedding season these past few months, editing, meeting 2014 clients, presenting wedding pics and shooting back to back every weekend… I absolutely love this crazy pace and I am thankful for every second.   So as we’re gearing up for our work weekend to start, I thought I would share this cute newborn session.

It’s always such great news to hear when a couple is expecting and when M contacted me about this session, I was thrilled to hear the amazing news.  When I got to M&K’s place, K showed me around their place and we decided to use Baby K’s room for the shoots.  The awesome part about her room was the fact that for a newborn her closet was pretty full with clothing =)   When M brought out baby K, she looked super cute with her big bright eyes.  Not to mention too…the fact that her parents looked great (they hid their sleeplessness well).  The session went smoothly and in between feedings, I was chatting with K and got a chance to check out some of his pics he shot in the past.

To M&K, congrats again guys on your beautiful daughter. Thanks you both for contacting me to capture this cute lifestage in your family. Here are just a few pics from our session. Have a awesome weekend!

It’s a girl! Welcome Baby I + Family Lifestyle Shoot

What a crazy night in our city… hopefully everyone made it home safe. For the past few days we’ve been putting tons of time editing and processing pics… which came to a grinding halt with the power outage at 4pm yesterday… thankfully we’re back up and running this morning.  On that note for any inspiring photographers or serious hobbyist reading this… invest in a good UPS (uninterrupted power supply) it was a life saver for me yesterday.  Now to the main attraction…

Getting an email from V telling me she was expecting again was wonderful news.  I had the pleasure of capturing their first born and now was honoured again to capture their newest addition to the family… their beautiful daughter baby I.  When I got to their home, aside from the fact that it was great seeing them… I’m sure they were tired (as they all had large double doubles in hand) but they where totally ready for the shoot.  Baby I is so cute and she was great in front of the camera.  The fun part was, in between shots, we got to take some fun pics of their son whom is such a big little guy now (since the last time I saw him was a little after birth).  One of the cute parts about this shoot was the fact we replicated a shot that we did for their son’s newborn pics using the same Laos Rice cooker / holder.   To V and A, you guys have a beautiful family!  Thank you both so much for keeping me in mind for capturing this precious life stage.   Here are just a few pics from our shoot.  Thanks,

M+R + Baby A and B (Woof) // Newborn Session

This blog is coming from one of my most favorite places on earth to do work… which is 50,000 feet from earth… in my squished centre seat on a plane.  Every time I head out on a longer trip, I get stoked as I know I get uninterrupted (being unplugged from the world) photo processing time.  As I’m heading back to Toronto right now.. I hope everyone enjoyed the weather as I hear it was great, just like what Gi and I enjoyed in SF.

A few weeks back I had the honour of capturing this cute newborn session for M&R.  When I got to their home, I was greeted by their awesome dog B and of course M&R’s beautiful new addition.  Baby A is super cute man but you guys will see that below.  She was totally great with the camera and was awake for a good amount of the shots.  Ironically enough, in between shoots when baby A was being feed… I got a chance to take some (well… actually many..lol) pics of their other family member…B…. what a cute dog he is too.

As I’m about to land, here are some pics from this cute session.  To my friend M&R, thank you so much for this session and opening your home to me to capture this special moment of your family life.

What a perfect family =) Baby C’s cute Newborn Session

Last month, I had a Mary Ward week..and no.. I don’t mean an unproductive, walked around the halls all day (If anyone from Ward from my year is reading this, they would get it).  I was fortunate enough to reunite with some long time friends and got a chance to capture their beautiful families.

I’ve known both T&J for a long time and was recently in contact with T in the winter when she told be they where expecting number 2.  When baby C was born, I popped by there place within a week of her birth to capture some newborn pics.   When I got to their place, it was just great seeing them both – totally same good peoples as I’ve always known them to be.   Their son J… is super adorable (a spitting image of both the parents) and the exact same thing can be said about baby C.  We started off doing some solo’s of Baby C and worked into the family pics as you guys will see below.

To my friends T&J, great seeing you both and meeting your beautiful family! Thank you guys so much for keeping me in mind and giving me this opportunity to capture Baby Cs newborn pics.  Here a just a few from our session.

Couldn’t be happier for N+W. Newborn Photography

I wish I coined the phrase “legacy is greater then currency” … because when I first heard Gary Vaynerchuck talk about this... he nailed it  on the head.  Why I love what I do and what my business is all about.   If I stopped what I’m doing today… I could look back 7 years and be completely satisfied as I spent almost a decade documenting love, new life and eventful moments for people.

When close friends ask us to capture their wedding / newborn / baptism  etc… it is something I find hard to express - how truly happy and honoured it is for us.    So first and foremost I’m thrilled for my close friends W&N for the birth of their beautiful son D!   What was pretty awesome for this shoot was the fact that I got to see my friends W&N which I haven’t seen in a long time.   The crazy part about seeing them with a child was how natural they were.  One other key point was how great N looked… I would not have known she had a baby… and this was probably 7 days after childbirth.  And to be fair, W ‘ski looked handsome too =)

The shoot was fun times and baby D is cute stuff man…  but I’ll let the pics showcase that.  To my friends N & W, Gi and I can’t be happier for you guys! Here are some pics from our session.

Welcoming this little handsome dude // Newborn photography

We’ve been go go go busy for the last little while having tons of fun with the early start of our wedding season and being honoured with all the beautiful newborn and family lifestyle sessions we’ve been doing.  We just got back from an early morning wedding client meet and going to head out  to totally enjoy this awesome weather today with an engagement session downtown.  But before my day begins, I wanted to share this super cute newborn session of baby C.

I’ve been pretty excited to meet this little guy… as the daddy has been keeping me in the loop on his arrival.   So when I heard the great news.. we booked the date for this cute session.  When I walked into their home…it was great seeing E and D and meeting their little prince.   Like most newborns, E was telling me Baby C has been having the good life… spending most of his time sleeping.  But for the shoots… Baby C was wide awake for the most part.. almost  like he knew he was in a photoshoot..   Either or, the shoot went smoothly, as this little dude is great in front of the camera.

To my friends E&D, thank you both so much for letting me capture this precious life stage of your son.  Here a few pics from our session – enjoy!

Have an awesome weekend!
