Starting off at Michael’s parent’s home, I quickly realized what a close knit family Michael had as he was surrounded by his parents, cousins, sisters, and more. I mean you felt the love with just the range of Michael’s boys who came from the west coast (San Jose) to the mid west (Chicago) to the east coast (Tdot). I also quickly realized how Maida is a super lucky girl because a man who grows up with three sisters is definitely going to know how to treat a lady.
We had some time before the ceremony so the boys and I hung out on the rooftop of Michael and Maida’s future home. It was a beautiful space with a spectacular view of the Toronto skyline. And as some may have seen I got up to some higher heights that apparently made everyone nervous – but you got to get up to get the shot sometimes =).
Before I get into their wedding, I just want to comment on my wife’s last statement there… umm ….whatever happed to safety first? You guys will see the pics…
Maida and Michael’s wedding was awesome… seriously. I started off in the morning with Maida and the girls (and when I mean girls, how awesome is it that both Maida and Michael have three sisters each that where all in the wedding party). One key thing I would want to mention is how beautiful Maida’s parent’s back yard was… which gave a perfect spot to do a few details. We headed downtown to the gorgeous church of St. Basil’s and used the surrounding location as our photo wonderland. I mean how can we not we love using the urban city as a backdrop. Maida, Michael, and their wedding party are amazing… they did anything we asked and were the tons fun type of people. So certainly, running in the middle of the scramble is no prob for them.
Atlantis was their venue and it’s a personal favorite of both Gi and I… for the biased reason that we got married there too =) So it was great that we had some time to use the gorgeous facility to get some pics in. Before I let the pics tell the story, just a few notable mentions… Maida’s sister performance… AMAZING. Awesome SDE from www.madeincamera.ca To Emily, thanks again for the warm intro to M&M… it all started from you =) Last but not least, Maida and Michael, I can’t thank you enough for having us be a part of your day. Here are some pics as we’re processing the rest. Congrats again guys!
Your Friend, Leon
Oh Gi.. You take the cake for anything to get the shot =)
