Celebrating Little N’s Baptism

I have gotten to know this family really well throughout this year and really like them a lot.  Before little N was born, Gi and I had a blast doing a maternity session with N&L.  Then when little N was born, we had the honour of capturing some of the first few weeks of his life with pictures. Last month was another special event, when little N received his first sacrament and of course I was stoked to be able to capture this event.   The baptism was at a beautiful church and the celebration was held at one of my favorite venues, Atlantis Pavillion.   To N&L, much love for having me as a part of this special occasion.  Here are a few pics from Little N’s special day...  see you guys around when Gi and I go running =)

Welcoming Baby K! Congrats L &L

Baby K is crazy cute…. you will concur when you see the pics.   But before I get into their session I’m going to go a little off topic.  Gi plays Ultimate Frisbee and has been busting my chops to sub /play almost every week since she started.  I would have considered at one point to participate in the “recreational fun” … until I saw L & L play on the field.   “Hardcore” would be the word I would describe them both =) So that being said… I bet any money that baby K is going to have serious talent =)

Gi and I had fun with this session, I mean first and foremost we’re extremely happy for L&L and was stoked to meet little K.  For the session we incorporated some aspects of L&L … as you will see below.  Anyways… lets get to the cute pics.  L&L, Thank you for keeping us in mind for this session and a sincere congrats again on the little one.  You guys make awesome parents.

Michelle & Andrew’s Lifestyle / Engagement Session

Photography for us really has opened up our eyes to see daily things, spots and places in such a different light.   Honestly its irreversible the way we look at things, really things aren’t at face value anymore.  Wherever Gi and I go… we also end up saying “the Bride and Groom would look siiiiick right there…” .  That being said, funny enough, with Michelle and Andrew’s Lifestyle Session… we ended up utilizing a cop station downtown because of the cool architecture we liked… safest shoot ever =)

Michelle and Andrew are a gorgeous couple.  I already knew they were comfortable in front of the camera since I had the great honour to capture their intimate civic ceremony a month ago.  So for their LS session… easy breezy fun is the word.   We started off in the Distillery District and worked our way around King Street East… one of our favorite areas in Toronto.  As always…let the pics do the talking.  Michelle and Andrew, we can’t wait for your Toronto Wedding, thank you both again!

Margaret and Thomas Engaged!!!

I always love meting people that are also into photography.  When I remember last year when I first met Margaret and Thomas, after the initial meet and greet… Thomas and I got talking about photography… good times.  With their session… it was pimp to see Thomas bring his camera along too… now that’s passion.

Margaret and Thomas are a great couple together as well as individually.  We got to know them at the two separate lifestyle shoots… (we had to end our session prematurely because of the rain the first time around… but all good =))  We had our session at the Toronto Brickwork’s, an awesome spot, and just had fun with our new friends.   To both of you… here are some pics from our session(s) and counting down the days to the big day!  Hehe.. Gi and I can’t wait for the wedding!

Christina & Eric Engaged!

So what can I say about this shoot…well I think I must be a very lucky person!  You see, they say if a bird poos on you then you should go buy a lottery ticket because it is good luck…well apparently I should have bought many lottery tickets because I got poo’d on 4 times during this shoot =)

Since Christina lives in the Danforth area, we started off the session in Riverdale Park and worked our way around the Danforth .  We found some really cool shots that were out of the ordinary for the mid-town. It was to the point where we all thought if we showed people the shots it would be hard to guess where we were.  When you take a look at the pics, it is hard to imagine the shots were taken in the same area as each shot was a totally different scene.  Love this city!

We ended off the night capturing the skyline and some cool streetcar shots.  To Christina and Eric, here are just a small handful of pics from our shoot.  We’re totally excited for the upcoming wedding and ready to have some fun again.   Before I let the pics do the talking, I just want to say Thank You to Lesa for the kind referral to this awesome couple.

A fun farewell session!!!

I know this may seem a little biased but having a photo session with close friends is probably one of the best gifts one can give.  It is a chance to capture a moment in time and make memories along the way.

Natalia contacted me to do a shoot with her friends as a going away present for one of her good friends who moving to Edmonton.   My initial reaction was…”this is a freaking awesome idea =)” So we all coordinated to meet and just had some fun with the shoot as you will see below.  Natalia, thank you so much for keeping me in mind for this session, you and all your friends are so much fun – great meeting you all!  To Elle, hope your enjoying Edmonton… and here are just a handful of pics from our session with your friends in T dot =)
