Danny and Sonia + 3 – Baptism

Danny and I go way back to the good old days in high school where the gym was priority number 1J.   Our friendship continued since and it was a great honour for him to accept my request of having him a groomsmen in my wedding in early May.   Unfortunately, his wife Sonia was put on bed rest as she was due with TRIPLETS and they couldn’t make it to the wedding … but on the positive end was the birth of three BEAUTIFUL healthy babies shortly after.    I was asked by Danny to capture their baptism and with great honour I accepted in a heart beat.   When I showed up at their place, I realized that having triplets means everything has to be organized like an assembly line.  It was such aa event to see three of everything in the house.  The day and the blessing of the sacrament of baptism went smoothly and it was great being part of that experience with one of my oldest friends.  Great things happen to good people and that rule definitely applies to you both – thank you both for having me document such a special day!

S+B + Baby B Family Lifestyle Session

I love doing these lifestyle shoots with family’s since its fun and kids are just so cute!  I was telling S after our session that  B is soo well behaved, really unbelievably well behaved.  I’ll have to go to them for some pointers when Gi and I have kids…hehe

This session was a blast and it was also great to visit S, B and baby B as they are good friends of mine.   When I delivered all the pics to them I was saying to Sandy that as cheesy as this sounds, I’m honored to have been there for their life stages together… hanging out with them when they first met, having the amazing opportunity to shoot their wedding 3 years ago and now documenting their daughter B.   Long and short, I love what I do  :)

Helen and Enoch Lifestyle shoot

Location - Vancouver

I remember the first time I met Helen in Vancouver about 4 years ago, which coincidently was the my first time in Vancouver.  Helen and Gi have been friends forever and Helen also was a part of our wedding party.  When she got engaged it was such an honour, when I was selected to be their photographer.

When time came to figure out a lifestyle location, both Vancouver and San Fran were options, but in the end Vancity won.   We flew down to Vancouver and the weather wasn’t the best as it was raining and drizzly (the norm for Vancouverians) but I was pretty excited regardless. I knew that both Helen and Enoch would be up for anything. We started off a session in Gas town at night and having scoped out the area prior the night before, I knew that the wet floor would add to the picture…. And sure enough it did.   The following morning, we continued the session in Stanley Park and various other spots where they normally both spend lots of time and shows off the beauty of Vancouver.  Special thanks to my gorgeous photographer / lighting person for helping me out - The Wife :)

Looking so forward to their wedding in April!
