Christina and Kevin Lifestyle Shoot

Location – The ROM, Yorkville and U of T

The first time I was contacted by Christina, she mentioned that she was in London England and would be flying back to Toronto for a week to solidify all her vendors.  When she came down to Toronto we set up a time to meet, from there they signed up with to be their photographer…whoo hoo!   To my amazement she actually booked all her vendors for their big day during that week… awesome.

On the lifestyle session, we all met early in the morning downtown.  We had a blast just roaming the city and having some fun with the surroundings.  Again, its great to work with such a good-looking couple, as every shoot seems like the shot J

It was a great day, looking so forward to the big day in 2010!

John and Charamine Wedding

Venue - Hilton Suites Markham Conference Centre & Spa

Wedding Coordinator - Eunice Kim

What an awesome day!!! As I mentioned in their lifestyle shoot, John is one of my best friends and to be able to document such a special part of their lives is such an honour.  When I arrived at John’s place in the morning, what do I see in the drive way? An Audi R8!!!!  As you can see by the many exclamation marks, both John and I and probably all our mutual friends are car enthusiasts.  So needless to say, it was such a cool way to roll around town for the wedding.  This was such an awesome surprise for John and to give a free plug to the person that made it happen – if you are looking for an Audi, swing by Uptown Audi and ask for Darren.

The day was such a blast from beginning to end. After the ceremony, we headed off to Main Street Unionville for some more formal shots and after we went to the venue walking into the great sounds of a live steel drum band!   It was great to see such familiar faces with both the wedding party and guests.  I truly enjoyed myself and for one of the last shoots of 2009, it such a great way to end off a good year.  Special thank goes out Eunice Kim for keeping the day organized, it’s always a pleasure working with good people.   Enjoy the honeymoon guys and see you when you get back!  Congrats again.

Nellie and Aman Wedding

Venue  - The Venetian Banquet & Hospitality Centre

Venue  - The Venetian Banquet & Hospitality Centre

This was one wedding I was personally looking forward to, since I knew how fun and photogenic this couple was.  I personally had a blast at their lifestyle engagement session and knew it would be an easygoing day as they are both easygoing people.   The wedding today was awesome.  I remember coming back home and telling Gi how insanely fun it was.  If there was only one little downfall, the weather had some rain but it didn’t stop any of us making the best of the day.  To sum up, great party, “wow” venue / decor, “wow” dancing / dancer and a gorgeous bride and groom.   Special thanks to Nick and Carlos from www.group45.com, as its always great to work as a team. Congrats to you both and thank you for having us document your special day!

Ana & Ken Wedding

Venue – Markham City Hall

Where do I begin with these two people? Before I get into them, Ana and Ken to me are first and foremost two good friends of mine.   For the past year leading up to my own wedding, they where my go to people for all designs / video / video editing.  I was probably their worse client since they helped me in so many ways and always in very last minute fashion.  So right off the bat, thank you!

Now back to them.  I know this sounds totally cliché, but they are two people that are totally meant for each other. Anyone that meets these two as a couple will agree.  Now, when you combine two creative people together and have them plan a wedding, you get a gorgeous creative wedding!  The morning started off with “door games” which lead to a gorgeous ceremony and then an amazing reception.  There is one aspect that was mind blasting - the fact that Ken said a huge portion of his speech in Cantonese, bang on word per word…amazing!  To my good friends Ken and Ana, thank you so much for having us capture your special day.  Special thank to Kevin Chan for helping me shoot and the awesome video production team of Group45.
